My name is Erica Hall and I’m a thirty-something trying to navigate life as a newly single mom. I’m so lucky though to have the best little boy, Quinn, by my side. I’m also a fur mom to Chap (aka Chapman) – the cutest mini Australian Shepherd with the biggest personality.
I was born and raised in northern Illinois, but I’ve been an Iowa girl now for over a decade. I went to the University of Iowa for my undergrad and currently reside in the Quad Cities. As they say, “Once a Hawkeye, always a Hawkeye!”
Helping people is a huge passion of mine, which is why I love being a health and wellness coach. I earned my Master’s in Health Sciences and I’m also a Certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise.
When I’m not working, or in full mom mode, you’ll either find me running/working out, listening to a true-crime podcast, or searching for a “crappy horror movie” to watch. As bad as some of them are, they’re still my favorite. I grew up watching horror movies from a very young age (thanks dad), and it’s probably the reason why my dream has always been to become a medical examiner and perform autopsies. Maybe it’ll still come true.
In the meantime, blogger is my newest title added to the list. Join me for posts and stories on motherhood, wellness, beauty, home, and everything in between.
XO,
